Community Outreach

Dog health starts at home, which is why we think it is vital to educate the youth on the importance of being kind to animals. Our outreach program enlists the help of local, well-respected members of the community. We bring them into classrooms with their well-cared-for and well-behaved dogs to demonstrate the potential dogs have when they are treated well. The goal is to demonstrate the value of being kind to animals and looking after them properly. We want to change the culture so that dogs in our area receive more love and kindness, and we believe that this starts with the youth. This program takes zero dollars and is run purely on donated time.
